Elohim Barros - Brazil 45s fever!

Brazil 45s freak Elohim Barros has a long running 45s focused party called Compacto in Liberdade, a suburb of São Paulo as well as a straight up funk n soul party called Talco Bells. Since 2012 they have plyed their 7" trade at Compacto with resident DJs and special guests including D&B don DJ Marky with a funk and soul set (would love to have heard that!). Dipping into a wide range of genres from Brazil funk to soul to rock to latin and beyond, they certainly have a flavour that maybe only the Brazilians can attain. There's some killer tunes in this selection of mixes and have to give a special mention to the artwork for their flyers, love it! Defintely the party to swing by if you are ever in São Paulo.
