The Waxnerds crew, to which we owe so much for igniting the dancefloor on countless ocassions through their series of 45s, are back to reinforce their reputation as party starter experts of the highest order.
It's a pleasure to commentate, illustrate and give a description on anything the crew put out and that's certainly the case with DJ Benny Ben's "'Tis Yours". Taking the classic Bronx slang cut and beefing it up with the heavy, heavy Bronx drums leads to another Waxnerds sureshot. Don't believe me? Just listen to the mix!
On the flip, Markonerism & Jabbthakut pay tribute to another lyrical giant bridging BDK's verses's with some clever turntable wordplay. Combined with some Strong Island and Shocklee sauce, this is a dish best served cold!
