Here's an organ-fueled nugget we missed from a few months back, but now repressed. Put together by multi-instrumentalist André M who plays everything on here, bar the Hammond which was notably tickled by none other than Lee Horsley from Spiritualized. The lead track - 'Dodged A Bullet' - echoes the Acid Jazz era and was the kind of UK jazz/soul/funk cut that you would happily discover on 'Totally Wired' in the early 90s, but also sits alongside contemporary music of this ilk from the likes of Smoove & Turrell. Big, brashy and and funky indeed. The flip - 'Cat's Cradle' - is arguably where the heat is on this 45, a quirky piano and organ led mash up of kinky n' groovy loungecore vibes. Yeah baby!
