The label we have grown to love, the label that brings nuff joy to the masses through their carefully crafted soul reworks, the label that is never more than arms reach in the booth is back. SOUL FLIP! YAY! Label boss Del Gazeebo has been busy holding back beatmakers that have pounded the door at Soul Flip HQ, eager to sign up with the label. For this release, Croatian producer Umbo (who's Resense release we have featured here) breathes new life into a Barbara Randolph favourite while Del Gazeebo sprinkles some Soul Flip magic dust over a Carla Thomas joint. With every release, you know that Soul Flip have the DJ in mind, and with this their seventeenth release, we are treated to those Teflon coated drums and those sweet soul vocals.
