It seems like an age since Djar One blessed us with some new music when in fact it's only been eighteen days since Jules and Georges 'Tout Simplement' and we're glad of the quick turnover, however long it seems! On '4 The Beat' he joins forces with rapper Chrome for an upfront rap adventure. Chrome pays tribute to the producers past and present that have carved in our memory what we now regard as classic golden age tracks. This track continues in that vein thanks to this Anglo-French parnership.
On the flip, Djar One again looks to the United Kingdom for a lyrical partner and strikes gold with Micall Parknsun who has recently worked with 45 Live's very own Mr. Thing on the 'Finish What We Started' long player. He raps lyrical on this moody mid tempo rap with his trademark raspy vocal style that has made him a favourite for us here at the office.
