Here's a lil' story I get to tell about an independant record label operating out of Hialeah, Florida making a big splash since arriving on the scene last year with the debut 45 from Scone Cash Players. Once again the Mango Hill Records camp are on the charm offensive with this 45 that features organist Adam Scone (Scone Cash Players) and the sweet tones of Jason Joshua on lead vocal. But that’s just two players of this creative troupe.
The latest 45 from the label is the debut release from this Miami / New York crew Jason Joshua and The Beholders and they have produced such a compelling soul record. If there's one record that will warm the heart and deliver it's 'Rose Gold'. It's never too early to discuss records of the year and all bets are off when a fresh delivery from Mango Hill reaches us.
