The superpower funk heavyweight production duo Mako & Mr Bristow make a welcome return with a clutch of glory hole forty-fives for the twenty-three. Not content with leaving us floored with their last offering (both 'Uptight Boss' and 'Beg For A Dollar' remain rooted to the playbox), the team give Jimmy Hicks and Candi Staton some heavy dancefloor pressure with what tools they have found in the shed. This time, they have signed for Soul Flip for this the label's fifteenth release. This is a label we are more than familair with and one who consistantly elevate the bar thanks to the selection of producers they cherry pick and the choice of records they choose. Mark our words, this is a future summer smash and it's already making inroads with those who have the record and know how and when to use it. Great work all around from Mako & Mr Bristow.
