Fresh off the press and into the homes of the lucky music lovers who choose to play it loud this summer season is the latest afro funk project from Kaleta & Super Yamba Band. With that African percussion at the heart of this forty-five and the wailing JB-esque tones of Benin-native Leon Ligan-Majek a.k.a. Kaleta at the helm, we have this record packed in the play box to give the dancefloor that extra gusto for festival season and well into the latter part of the year for that matter. Having toured the globe with Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade and Ms. Lauryn Hill, he gathered Brooklyn's Super Yamba Band for a recording session in their neighbourhood Hive Mind Recording studio for this record and the results are everything we hoped for.
