My absolute favourite Veggie Tales so far, this fusion of electro and African sounds is just perfect. The production is so on-point, eerily atmospheric with razor sharp percussion and phat bass, with the strings break adding some intrigue before it drops back into a pure, immediate and powerful rhythm. This the kind of track that wouldn't be out of place on Ninja Tune or in the sets of people like Mr Scruff and Floating Points, in fact any DJ who pushes boundaries or enjoys ecclectic journeys through a record box. The same goes for side B as Rafael Aragon rerubs it beautifully, arranging everything with a touch of class and a precise ear to lead any listener straight to the dancefloor. Both sides here are 10/10 dance music, club music, beach music, festival music, you get the picture. I can't wait to throw this on in front of 800 people in a field or packed red-lit venue, the trancelike arrangement will be seriously effective.
