Edits can be contentious, especially where someone basically loops an intro for 4 bars and calls that track their own, lazy! But not here, the guys take a downtempo soul nugget from Ann Peebles and whip it up into a faster, break-beat laden nugget, all mixed and arranged wonderfully. And the exact same treatment adorns the flip by Shirley Brown. DJ essentials, both of 'em, and expect to hear them in the clubs all over when it is released in September. STRONG record, I'm so glad they did it.... ;)
