We take you now to the shore of the Gulf of Finland by the Baltic Sea. For it is in the city of Helsinki, more specifically the location of Timmion Records Cutting Lab that the masters where received for this 45 release. Of course the Timmion expert craftsmen worked their magic and cut this 45 for Preservation Records. They were originally sourced from the Mirage vault.

The original version of 'Just Cause I’m Guilty' got a spit and polish and man does it shine! From the opening menacing electric guitar plucks to the incendiary drum welcome, this track teeters with ferocious intent but just manages to stays on the tracks long enough to usher in the vocals. A driving horn section underpins this classic slice of blue eyed soul.

'Can’t Stop A Man In Love' is a charming triumphant declaration of love from a man intent on having his woman at any cost. A freaky funky guitar strut and a smooth vocal gives birth to another example of Mirage’s long forgotten catalogue of gems. We have Preservation Records to thank for bringing this music to the world.
