Let's go back to last month when we had a conversation with label boss Dom Ore about his plans for the label and he revealed back then that Patterson Twins' 'Gonna Find A True Love' was up next. Well, we instantly put the receiver down and attempted to gather our thoughts on how the wider world would receive this news. Miles Away Records have secured the rights to a modern soul gem in 'Gonna Find A True Love' that has earned the right to be a staple of your favourite DJ's set for many years but is now available at an affordable price. Gonna Find A True Love has long been revered on the soul scene as a modern soul masterpiece whether that be the Bottom & Co. stunning version or of that by Patterson Twins. Both very hard to come by and massively sought after.
Originally released in 1978 on the obscure imprint Commercial and now fully licensed from Lester and Estus Patterson. Back by ‘A Good Thing’ from the album Let Me Be Your Lover which will also see a full reissue later this year.
