Fresh from the pressing plant comes the latest batch of gems from Russian producer heavyweight Paul Sitter. Already ten releases deep, his Funky Shit label goes from strength to strength and with that the rep grows bigger. What we have on the first track 'Paul's Mood' is a breaks-heavy kaleidoscopic cut n' paste DJ tool that will prove to be a go-to forty-five to pull out when all else fails. 'Ike's Mood' gets flipped on it's head and is transformed into a top billin' sample spotter's dream. On the flip 'How You Feelin' we find our hero deep in the breaks tranches delivering that raw ish for the party people. Midway through the track the drums makes way for the big horn blasts before the drums come rollin' back in. Another hip hop masterclass. His previous effort 'Nothing EP' blew the doors clean off and for this 'Mood EP' he exerts the same raw energy for a breaks heavy sureshot. Strap in as we take a seat and turn it up loud on the system.
