Let us now bow at the altar of the high kings of German funk Mocambo for it is from this stable comes their latest signing. That signing is Turkish vibe queen Peki Momés. Ms. Momés is set to turn the world on it's head with her insatiatable brand of disco and psych funk from her creative hub. On this her debut 45 for the Mocambo label she lays down the marker for what’s to come on her debut LP for the label due out in 2025. On ‘Göç Mevisimi’, a delicious slice of sleazy disco is ushered in by some inviting flute action as Peki Momés’ infectious vocal navigates deep into our heartstrings. On the flip, ‘Rüya’, this vibe queen delivers another vibey sleazy cut for the late night crew. Hats off to Mocambo for another assault on the senses from their latest signing.
