Mukatsuku's excellent 'Afro Funk & Disco Gems' series hits Volume Ten hot on the heels of Vol. Nine and adds to the label's impressive and relentless output in style. Erring heavily on the disco boogie side of things rather than heavier Afro Funk, these 2 slick numbers are the 80's imprinted on wax, African style. For me it's all about the B side with Tala Am's bass led groover full of swirling sax riffs, like Level 42, only much much better. We at 45 Live always look forward to Mukatsuku's releases and this one fits nicely into the collection for those more glittery moments.
