Oh my! THIS is why we can't keep our peelers off the Soul Flip Bandcamp page. Releases are posted up, releases that really are an assualt on the senses and then, well, they sell out in record time. With good reason might I add. Since this label's inception we have been treated to a flurry of soul-tinged releases, all of which get the 45 Live seal of approval once the needle hits the groove. It's the Soul Flip way to bring to the masses some of the soul giants we have grown to love and to perhaps introduce said tracks to a new audience. The Soul Flip production crew underpin each release with some tough drums to keep the DJs happy and the dancers away from the fringes of the venue. Which leads us on their eighteenth release. 'Send Him Back' is of course a dynamite track in it's own right but with Del Gazeebo on the boards the heat gets turned up a notch or two. Pure fire. Label favourite Wonderlove tackles 'Evil Ways' on the flip and again we have to ask on the strength of this track why we don't see more of Wonderlove on the Soul Flip label?
