Sound the alarm, PURE FIRE. Some serious heavy duty Panamanian soul/funk here on this latest Matasuna release. Ralph recorded this together with the band Los Dinámicos Exciters in 1971 in Panama and the OG album will set you back some dollars! This track was also featured a few years back on the excellent Soundway compilation 'Panama!', but what we're interested in here is that it's now on 45, complete with a killer Voodoo Cuts Edit on the flip. The original has been re-mastered, bringing out some extra depth and richness which lets the outrageously funky trancelike groove really shine and the excellent horn arrrangements pop. Meanwhile Voodoo Cuts predictably rerubs the the track into something special, extra breaks, extended parts all aimed at maximum dancefloor pressure. EXCELLENT release.
