We're more than a little excited to feature the first release on Miles Way Records, the label founded by DJ Dom Ore which specialises in reissuing rare gems from around the globe for a brand new legion of diggers and listeners. They've chosen Rokk's 'Patience' to launch the label and if this release gives a glimpse of what's in store then it's going to be a case of....well, you're going to want to buy futures releases from the label on sight!
'Patience' from 1975 has never before been reissued as a stand alone 45 so for Miles Away Records to shine a light on this classic is great news for collectors and DJs who like to keep the dancefloor busy. Band members James Dockery and Arthur Monday met in 1964 and were joined in the mid 70s by La Marco Nesbit and Denny Lash. Together they formed Rokk and released one single and one album which lay undiscovered for 30 years.
