The label who have made the smart move in signing up Shaka Loves You for a deal are the supremely funky Bomb Strikes (we know where you live Bomb Strikes, we will be harassing you for more SLY productions to be pressed on wax).
The first time we heard 'Boogie' we projected cock-a-leekie soup all over the turntable and proceeded to cut a rug on the 45 Live office Persian threads that, it must be said, really tie the room together. Involuntary dance is what you should expect when the needle hits the groove so put down the condiments and clear the room of any obstructions. Shaka Loves You team up with rapper turned singer J5's Fullee Love who wastes no time in adding special flaming hot vocal sauce to the mix. Flip the forty-five over for the supa-dupa 'Get Down' that has the SLY chaps in familiar fortified funk territory.
