Top Rankin’ is a new club night in East London, bringing together DJs and MCs to celebrate UK Club and Sound System culture by taking it ‘right back to its roots’.

From dubplates to reloads to 16-bar verses, the Reggae & Bashment influence on UK’s popular music is both vast and varied. UK Garage, Funky, Grime, DnB and Dubstep, to name some genres, can all be traced back to the sunny climes of the Carribean, and those initial roots have continued to flourish on these shores. Today, through club nights, carnivals, clash events, and not to mention the plethora of underground and mainstream releases, it’s impossible to ignore its impact – even if you wanted to.

Top Rankin’ joins the dots, and pays homage to this international connection by sharing the Sound System story in typical fashion - through loud, colourful, unpretentious experiences. We provide a break from the generic house nights that dominate the London scene - replacing £5 pints, flat caps and Nike Huaraches with Rum n Cokes, inflatable palm trees and all round good vibes.
