Skye’s ‘Ain’t No Need’ is one of those classic disco gems that has demanded a reissue on 45 for some time and now thanks to the good folks at not for profit label Rain&Shine Records in New Zealand, DJ’s across the land can breath a sigh of relief as the record has been lovingly remastered by the label.

Rain&Shine proudly present this release on the label and what a time to do it as this is sure to top a lot of end of years lists! A firm favourite for DJ’s like Theo Parrish and Floating Points who have both championed this record, it was originally released on A&M Records subsidiary Anada Records in 1976 and thanks to said DJs and DJs like them it’s opened the record up to a whole new generation of fans. This is a truly timeless cut from Skye that’s bound to sell out quickly.
