The producer Marc Friedli aka Skymark has been releasing exceptional music on various labels for a good while, taking in electronica, jazz, broken beats and house vibes. Here on this 45, Mukatsuku have taken 2 tracks that have appeared on previous LP releases but in the case of the A side it's an instrumental version. This isn't in-your-face music, rather a beautifully layered canvas of rhythms with swirling Rhodes, tight bass and rich textures, it's modern jazz for the DJ that pushes the envelope in their sets.
