They got a wacky-wack record with a wacky-wack crew but it's for that very reason that we always get over excited when news of a brand new forty-five from the super-secretive-but-always-on-point Wack Records reaches us. It feels like we heard news of this release even before we learned the word 'covid' it's been that long in production. Never fear because the while has been waited and now, dear reader, is the time to hit the high street.
On the A side 'Queensbridge' producer Smoove pays tribute to New York's Cold Chillin' crew flipping the original Frankie Cutlass posse cut and applying the feel good funk in the process. Krash Slaughta provides the cuts so you know he's in good company. On the flip, it's the turn of Herma Puma who handles production on 'Brooklyn' with Smoove overseeing the final cut. The Babees, who have babees over their own we shouldn't wonder will surely give this one a '5 mics' once they clap ears on it. Classic NYC hip hop stylings from the off. This is a bumber pack from the Wack crew that will go down an absolute storm in the clubs. So let's open them all back up!
