The label is Tugboat Editions, the brainchild of Tim Zawada and Ben Van Dyke. Tugboat Editions specialise in vinyl releases showcasing the best of boogie, disco, electronic funk and R&B. That's where Soul Supreme comes in. Hailing from Amsterdam, this keyboardist, DJ & producer is the real deal. He released this double sided beast on wax three years ago and no sooner had it hit the shelves than every single copy was scopped up leaving DJs and collectors bereft of the essential wax. Fear not because Tugboat Editions made the wise move to repress and the drop takes place this Friday so do not say we didn't warn ya. Set your casios to go off on Friday.
