My my! The folks behind the superb First Word Records label have only gone and released one of Tall Black Guy’s finest offerings on their sister label Excursions. Anyone vaguely familiar with this producer’s work to date (which includes two albums on the aforementioned First Word Records) will know the bar is set high on each and every release and on A Franklin Black Excursion that’s certainly the case for this Detroit native.

Flip over for supa dupa produca Kaytronik’s turn to embellish on the cut with Gifted People (Kaytronik's Gifted & Black Remix). Let me tell you he doesn't play and his homage to the Queen Of Soul is done with so much love and dedication. This remix has the dancefloor  in it's crosshairs with a beefy,  soulful 4/4 workout.
