Sure fire party starters The Allergies are back with another 7" taken from the latest LP 'Push On'. This time both cuts feature the supreme skills of Ugly Duckling's Andy Cooper, whose developed quite the solo career in recent years and whose vocal delivery just smacks of LA sunshine and positivity. The A side ‘Main Event’ is a thoroughly infectious disco-fied bump n' grinder which is The Allergies personified. Feel good? Yeah! Meanwhile the flip 'Buzzsaw' cranks up the tempo, adds plenty of boom and indeed bap for Andy to let rip over, and boy oh boy does he deliver.
