One of our favourite reggae labels of the past twelve months has been Happy As A Lark based out in Chicago.The Ignobles comprises of players from Gone Bad, Full Watts Band, The Drastics, The Far East and Uzimon and they come together every once in a while (but not often enough if you ask us) to lift the lid on the HAAL destresser music box. They create warm fuzzy reggae tracks that leaves the listener tapping their feet and wearing smile, such is the infectious nature of The Ignobles' sound. On this their second record with the label they bless us with 'Make Me Wanna' which is a call to the summer to arrive a lot earlier for all the Northern Hemisphere heads who have one eye on the sizzling sun and festival frolics.  On the flip, 'Living Dangerously' , the band warn of a lifestyle that could lead to worry and strife for those who pursue a certain chosen path. King Tony and his assortment of boom ting effects boxes was on hand during the recording session to add more spice and each track sounds all the better for it.
