The Kevin Fingier Collective
Latin Dynamite
(Fingier)
The Acid Jazz imprint label Fingier burst onto the scene in 2020 and with 'Latin Dynamite' everyone has been ripping up their lists for the big man in the North Pole and starting again as the label continues to charm it's way into people's homes thanks to a timely repress of a favourite for the label. With Argentinian producer Kevin Fingier at the helm, we are treated to a sure fire Latin Boogaloo cut in 'Latin Dynamite'. This track has gained the praise of Joe Bataan among many others. Succumb to the sounds of Fingier Records, for it's these sounds that we have fallen in love with here at 45 Live Towers. We simply can't wait to see what is in store in 2023 from that corner of the world. Sure fire from Fingier! Love it!
From Acid Jazz Records:
"Special edition re-press to include previously unreleased B-side. Pre-order now!
The original December 2020 pressing of 'Latin Dynamite' sold out more than two weeks before release date. Subsequently, copies have emerged on collector sites for over £150. Due to this incredible demand, it is set for reissue on 9 December, this time backed with a previously unreleased B-side...
Acid Jazz group label Fingier Records, headed by Argentinian producer Kevin Fingier, has become known for its dedication to Soul, R&B, Boogaloo and Raw Funk productions from Latin America. 'Latin Dynamite' could have been the soundtrack of Ramsey Lewis and Mongo Santamaría visiting Soho together around mid 60s, it's a perfect mix of Mod Jazz and Boogaloo, with a very cinematic feel.
Look out for an upcoming announcement when we reveal the B-side for what is sure to be another collector favourite."
