Cue 'nasty face' on this one, because it's one of those 45s that as soon as 4 bars have swung by you're hooked like a hungry fish on a big phat funky worm. The band have totally nailed the raw funk sound here, crunchy organ riffs, screechy wah-wah guitar, super deep throbbing bass and drums, lots of DRUMS. It's a peak time nose bleed funk BBoy belter, if you like Mountain Mocha Kilimanjaro, The Soul Tornadoes and the like, you're gonna love this. Flip for 'Loose Lips' and the band turns the heat back down a few notches for a Meters-esque slow-mo funk gem. This one is super spacy with everyone tinkling their instruments just the right amount so everything breathes beautifully, and once again those drums, so tight. An absolute MUST-HAVE from Funk Night, and surely one of the best from the band, so far. If we had a donut rating system for reviews, this would be 5 out of 5.
