Another choice 45 on ATA Records is dropping later this month with The Sorcerers' afro/psyche flavoured and wonderfully titled 'Summoning The Monkey God'. Taken from the forthcoming LP, this downtempo and moody track crosses the boundaries of Ethio-jazz and library sounds, it's nice, but, yes you guessed it, the heat resides on the B side. The flip 'End Credits' is very much aimed at the dancefloor, picking up the tempo with wah-wah guitar, heavy drums and featuring the mighty Chip Wickam on flute. But clocking in at 1:46 it's just too short, it's maybe best to get 2 copies to extend it! Click play below and add to your playbox when the vinyl lands. TUNE!
