I confess I'm a little late to the party when it comes to UV & Nenor. Having just come across their absolute banger of an edit 'Bahia' on Fossils Records (check soundclip here), I proceeded to delve into their output and got in touch with the guys.

It just so happens they have started a new label called Ma Ze that will be putting out original music. Their first cut 'Shmanman' is a deep slow-mo dub-house groover with plenty of squelchy bass lines, topped off with some spaced-out echo vocal stabs from Ranking Levy. Very much an early doors cut, or at 5am in a field somewhere where everyone is 'in the zone' if you know what I mean. Flip for 'Tookey', and turn up the tempo for a disco-not-disco jam. A sweet 45 for electronica heads and freestyle DJ sets.
