Whirlwind D, stalwart of the UK hip hop scene has a new super limited 45 out on B-Line Recordings where we are blessed with the production talents of Smoove for the remix. But this is more than a remix, this a full rework with Smoove concocting a boogie/P-funk backing to switch up the vibe of the orginal. Necessarily dubbed out considering it's a bed for D's unmistakable UK flow, it chronicles the pre-gig shenanigans that might result in a few shots of something to loosen up (we've all been there). Also including the instrumental on the flip which is a welcome addition for when you're dropping some straight up boogie nuggets for the dancefloor. So once again, another successful collab between Whirlwind D and Smoove, and if you dig then dig into the catalogue and check Smoove's extended remix of 'Labels' which is a beauty.
