Here Winfield's gritty and soulful vocal is underpinned by a hard as nails soul/funk groove, it's as much about the spaces in this, fantastic arangement that sees every instrument reach it's full potential in the mix. You might be forgiven in thinking this is southern funk, there are shades of the Meters here, but it's a Philidelphia / Baltimore soulfunk for sure. QUALITY.
