X-Ray Ted 'Get Loose' (Bomb Strikes)

X-Ray Ted Feat. Dr. Syntax & Professor Elemental
'Get Loose' / 'Instrumental'
(Bomb Strikes)

In many ways X-Ray Ted is so totally now, it's genius. A master of tickling vinyl, with an unbelievable knack when it comes to digital DJ tomfoolery where he skillfully uses technology to remix all manner of musical sources on the fly, in a very fly way. Add to that his general musical sensibility that sees an inevitable smile on peoples faces as they vibe out on the dancefloor to his warm, and ultimately funky flavoured joints. And lastly, add in the what-seems-to-be-an-essential-skill-of-right-now, the jazz-hands of social-media self-promotion ("yooo, what's good my friends..."). All of this unites into a slick music making, club rocking, content creating, record sales generating machine....and a class one at that.

So here's another 7" single taken from the album 'Movin' On', a cheeky funk/soul rap ditty with humour on 'Get Loose'. Featuring Dr. Syntax & Professor Elemental, this short but sweet bomb-strike has the kind of elements that seat this in the realms of positive, funked up, dancefloor biznizz. Crisp funky beakbeats, dry and wry raps, a soulful treatment, what's not to like?

Complete with an instrumental, bonus scratch tools and an acapella. If you're really skillful, get 4 copies for 4 deck mixing on 45s....ummmm, maybe Koco is the ONLY one who could do that?
