Dutch DJ and producer Kid Sundance takes the 'JB cut and paste' baton firmly in hand and he's off and running. OK, cutting up JB grooves really isn't anything new, yet every time a new one comes along, DJs the world over scoop them up like sweets. Why? Because James Brown IS the godfather of funk and the wealth of music to cut and paste is phenomenal, and even if a billion producers use the same tracks, each will have their own particular take on how to paste it together. This joint is plain funky, what else is there to say?
At the time of writing this, the Bandcamp page is saying sold out (no doubt on pre-order), so sadly it's looking like Discogs where it's already £80+, I'm beginning to hate Discogs...
